Shape Art Weekend, Bankside (London, 2023)

Common Ground for Festival Of The Mind (Sheffield, 2020)

Working with artist Jo Peel to produce large scale, free standing sculpture from timber and ply.

“Working with Ed is always a pleasure, because he is a creative thinker and able to problem solve calmly, helping to bring projects to life.”

Jo Peel

Common Ground for Festival Of The Mind (2020)

Working with Jo in her studio in Yorkshire Artspace, Sheffield, to translate a cardboard model into a large scale sculptural installation.

Complete with a 3mm ply tiled roof, and built with consideration for easy transportation and tool-free installation.

Constructed from timber and ply, finished by Jo using paper mache, paint, drainage tubes and plants.

Shape art weekend, bankside (London 2023)

In 2023 I was asked to build two further structures to make up part of Jo’s exhibition in the ground floor of the brand new Triptych building in London’s bankside.

These two, larger structures were designed to lead into each other, with an entrance through a double door that resembled a fridge; accessible from “Peel’s Cafe” within the exhibition.

Constructed in Jo’s Studio in Yorkshire artspace from timber and ply.
